Self-Care for Carers
Open to All
A gentle and nurturing space to replenish your energy and reconnect with yourself.
Caring for others—whether professionally or within your family—can be deeply fulfilling, but it can also be physically and emotionally depleting. We often give so much to those around us that we forget to tend to our own needs. This half-day retreat is an invitation to pause, breathe, and receive.
You don’t need any previous experience with yoga or mindfulness to join. The practices we’ll explore are designed to be accessible, nourishing, and practical—tools you can carry with you into your everyday life, no matter how full or busy it may be.
The intention of the day is simple: to offer a warm and supportive space where you can feel held, seen, and restored—so that you can continue showing up for others from a place of greater balance and vitality.

The Rhythm of Our Time Together
Our time together is carefully curated to support your body, heart, and mind. Here’s a gentle flow of how the morning will unfold:
10:00am – Arrive & Welcome Circle
We begin with tea, grounding practices, and an invitation to settle into the space. This opening includes a conversation about what self-care truly means, why it matters, and how we can reframe it as a vital, ongoing act of compassion toward ourselves.
10:30am – Movement, Breath & Deep Rest
A blend of gentle yoga, somatic movement, and breathwork designed to release tension and awaken your body and mind. These practices help peel away layers of stress and bring in a sense of inner warmth. This part of the session transitions into Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep)—a deeply restorative relaxation practice to nourish your energy reserves.
Throughout, my intention is to offer you warmth and support, as if you were nestled comfortably, wrapped in care.
12:00 – Nourishing Vegetarian Lunch
A lovingly prepared, home-cooked vegetarian meal shared in a relaxed setting. This is a chance to nourish yourself, connect with others, and rest in a sense of community.
1:15pm – Journaling & Guided Self-Inquiry
You’ll be gently guided through reflective journaling prompts and creative self-inquiry to support emotional clarity and deeper connection with your needs and values. You’ll also have the opportunity to create your own personal journal using a selection of art materials provided on the day - a simple but meaningful way to make the practice your own.
1:45pm – Closing Circle
A quiet moment to gather your insights, integrate your experience, and transition back into daily life feeling a little more resourced, seen, and supported.

A Few Words from Me
My intention for this retreat is simple - to offer you a moment to be cared for, the way you care for others.
I’ve held this space with deep tenderness in mind, knowing how hard it can be to pause when so many others rely on you. This day is here for you to reconnect with your breath, your body, and your inner voice.
Whether you’ve practiced yoga before or not, you are welcome here, just as you are. Everything we do together is designed to be gentle, accessible, and supportive.
I hope you leave feeling nourished, a little lighter, and more resourced to keep showing up for life in a way that feels sustainable, and kind.
