Join us for a serene and rejuvenating bespoke workshop designed to gently cradle you at the end of the day. This semi private session offers a peaceful escape, inviting you to unwind and transition smoothly into a restful evening and a soothing weekend.
Embrace the Calm
In this workshop, you'll be guided through a series of gentle, supportive restorative yoga poses in a softly lit, candlelit ambiance to support you release the day’s tension and gently settle into a state of deep calm. With each mindful movement and breath, you'll be invited to rediscover the art of resting - nurturing both body and mind in a welcoming, trauma-sensitive space. As your nervous system shifts into its "rest and digest" mode, it optimises digestion and restoration, fostering holistic healing.
What is Restorative Yoga?
Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow-paced practice designed to promote deep relaxation and stress relief. By holding supported poses for extended periods - with the assistance of props - this meditative approach activates your parasympathetic nervous system, commonly known as the "rest and digest" response. This natural mechanism enhances digestion, supports overall wellness, and helps maintain essential bodily functions, promoting balance, reducing tension, and cultivating a serene state of mind.
